Fun Memories

I remember when the Zip drives first came out.  Of course, I got one of the first ones.  And with the 100MB disks, I couldn't understand why I needed a second disk.  After all, if I double spaced the one disk I had, I would have almost 200MB at my disposal.

I think was in the seventh grade when I had saved up enough to buy this laptop from someone else.  I saved the money from cutting yards and borrowed the rest from my father.  Of course, I paid him back that summer.

After giving it to my parents and younger brother, they managed to break the screen so only part of the screen is visible (see the picture).

3/2004:  I attempted to pull the data from that laptop's hard disk by taking the computer apart and plugging the drive to my USB laptop drive adapter.  Unfortunately, that drive's disk controller was large enough that it would not attach to the adapter.  One day, I'll pull the data from it.  At least I took some good pictures of it.
