Due to a basketball doubleheader (I work at volleyball and basketball games), I was forced to go back to campus when Greensboro was covered with some snow and a lot of ice. Fortunately, I had enough time to take a few pictures of the weather between games.
The picture to the right is one I took of the Bryan School. I used my tripod for this shot while I held my camera's external flash about ten feet away. Since I don't have a wireless transmitter for the flash, I simply fired it when I heard the shutter open. This brightened up the foreground and allowed me to get a nice dark sky with the parking deck to the right. It's not too bad, but I certainly would not put this in my portfolio.
Photography is just as interesting as web app development. I wonder if I will end up doing both at a later date. I know I will be taking an unprecedented number of pictures at StellarCon this year, even if I am its IT Manager. Speaking of that, the ConTrak Systems project went well and the final v1 release is just about due.
