I don't have any pictures to show for tonight.  As most people in GSO have been aware, it has been raining off and on for some time now.  It wasn't too bad when I went to Haunted Forest tonight, but it quickly turned into a downpour.

Two things, at least, were accomplished tonight: 1) I memorized this year's layout and the points of staff entry/exit.  2) I came up with a good shooting angle for a new type of attraction at Haunted Forest.  I needed the tripod to photograph it properly, as I can't hold still for about two seconds.  By the time I brought the tripod around, the lights were turned off.  Oh well; I'll just have to do that later.

New and Changed Attractions at Haunted Forest: The entry point has a different room layout, the Freddie exhibit has been moved, a new room lets onto the graveyard, black tarp helps guide customers to the next attraction, more mattresses are in the ground, the guillotine has been moved, and the hanging skeleton section introduces pikes and a motion detector.  The entire back section beginning with the mine shaft/hole crawl has been revised and new attractions have been added there as well--one of which is a dead school bus to move through.

This year was the first I have heard of using a school bus in a haunted attraction.  Of course, before I began photographing haunted attractions, I really didn't go to many.  It's interesting that both Woods of Terror and Haunted Forest make use of it this year.  It's something I found interesting, but in no way detracts from either attraction.  I even have a few other ideas for both attractions.  Perhaps I'll share them later.

My brother's wedding is 10-8, so I will be at Haunted Forest on 10-8 only if I arrive back in GSO in time (plus with enough energy to take pictures).  I am 85% certain I will be at Haunted Forest on 10-8.
