Haunted Attraction Photography by Christopher Hall

Spookywoods  (2006-10-05)
It just keeps getting better!  Who would have thought there'd be this many people coming through any haunted attraction this early in the season on a Thursday!  That just goes to show Spookywoods' popularity.

For this night, I focused exclusively on the few scares at the end: a few of the vortex, the dark scene with camoed people, and the mine scene.  Part way through photographing the mine scene, the camera, mounted on the tripod, fell over when I quickly moved it before the next group of people came through!  One of the buttons was stuck, so I performed some quick maintenance and got everything working again.

As you can see from the pictures, I am now beginning to focus more on getting shots of people screaming.  It's difficult because some times there's stuff in the way, you have to get just the right group, the scare has to happen when people are facing just the right way, and the list goes on to the technical.  It takes time.  I think everyone will be pleased with a few of the scare pictures for this night.

This album is part of Christopher Hall's Haunted Pictures collection.
Pictures:  48.     Some edited & all watermarked.
