And the final shooting night at Boogerwoods. I
had most of the scenes and scares done already, so it was time to try
doing the difficult stuff. The first part of the diner and the
meat locker were difficult because they're large scenes and people can
be anywhere, including clumped upon each other. The tornado room
was a challenge to get as well; it was a confined space and pretty much
dark. I tried taking many shots, using the light from my camera's
flash to make angle adjustments between shots. When you can't see,
quantity is just about the only way you're going to get anything.
Because of that, I had 900+ shots at the end of the night. It took
a little time to whittle them down, but it was easy to tell which shots
weren't going to work.
Two days later, I purchased the domain SeeYouScream.com
(as well as ISeeYouScream.com, CUScream.com, and ICUScream.com).
I'll try hosting the site on that one next year. For now, if you
go to it, the site will direct you to this one. It's much better
than telling someone my email server's name--and more memorable!
This post marks the first time I announced it.
