Haunted Attraction Photography by Christopher Hall

X-Treme Fear  (2008-10-10)
Formerly "Forest of Horror", the attraction was renamed this year to X-Treme Fear.  There are many new scenes here and some favorites have been updated.  Personally, I thought the pirate ship was a nice touch (and the surprise awaiting those passing through).  Twisted versions of some fairy tales have also been incorporated into the attraction, such as Little Red Ridinghood, the Three Little Pigs, and Alice in Wonderland (though not a fairy tale, it does tend to fit in this group).  The clown area was completely redone with 3D artwork.  The clowns are still there, of course, but now you're challenged with distinguishing between the art and real life before the clown jumps out at you.

For those who don't remember, yes, this was the attraction that started everything.  I was photographing a dorm's trip through the attraction and was approached halfway through by the proprietor.  He asked for a link to the pictures and, since I was enjoying myself, I asked if I could stay the rest of the night and the next, photographing the attraction.  I did so and was hooked.  I returned the years after that, improving my skills and creating new techniques along the way.  I also added more and more attractions to my list.  It's fun to do and definitely a challenge trying to get a good shot and adding light to scenes.  Thank you all who have supported and egged me on over the years.  Enjoy; I see you scream!
